THe finial product... THey should have offered this bike in the US in black to begin with. It's AWESOME !!!!!

I was really close to going red... but the ticket factor and the fact that black matches everything I own, made me finally decide on black in the end, But I can change whenever I want... pretty cheap.

I was going to go red... I LOVE red... just as much as I love the black. But the $1100 I just shelled out after my last run-in with the police, left me wanting to avoid further attention....lol

Plus, with my loud exhaust and flashing headlight/brake-light, I do feel somewhat more noticeable than before... I will probably go red in about a year or so.. I want to change it up on the regular, and PLasti-Dip makes that easy and very affordable... bright yellow or green would look awesome too.... lol

I should just get one in every color imaginable....

Nothing too interesting.... I'll break it down..

#1) Going 95mph in a 55 zone ( late for work, but apparently the CHP officer was undisturbed by this...lol )
#2) Riding on freeway and only had my permit ( as I have been stupidly riding with for years )
#3) No license plate attached to the bike ( got away with that as long as I could )
#4) Riding without proof of insurance ( I have insurance, but I had taken the card out of the bike the night before to make a copy )
#5) Bike was impounded as a result of #2

The results of this study:

BIGGGGG ASS TICKET + TOW FEES + IMPOUND STORAGE FEES + CHP INSPECTION + COURT FEES + TAXES + TRAFFIC SCHOOL = Approx. $1100 and a BLACK (not red) bike....

wow, that's got to hurt ($$$).
I noticed some cops are nice and will listen to your story and would even let you go.
While others are sticklers and TAG you for everything wrong.
I had good luck with MALE chp or police officers, while on the other hand the female officers always give me tickets.
