Current batteries use rare earth metals that are expensive, so until they change battery technologies, replacements will be expensive. I keep seeing possible replacements being touted, but we'll just have to wait and see what works, and what is just fishing for research dollars.

This is exactly what I tried to tell a salesman at a dealer a few months ago. Honda came out with that for beginning or returning riders line, and they have been stuck on it ever since. If you want to ride more, get a bike that you can run errands on, and that is comfortable in traffic.

It's probably an advertisement. I've had it happen on several sites. My virus checker scans everything before loading and I've performed full scans with multiple anti-spyware tools. Nothing. I added entries to my adblocker and I think that did the trick.

You are correct, I am wrong. There is .7 degrees difference in rake. But changing the rear height slightly or raising/dropping the forks in the triple clamps will change that much. From the look of the trail, the CTX must have different triple clamps.
