The 2023 MV Agusta Dragster RR Is A Raw Blend Of Technology And Design
Contents
Meet the 2023 MV Agusta Dragster RR, a motorcycle that embodies the spirit of a street fighter, packed into a compact and aggressive package. While at the lower end of the 2023 MV Agusta lineup as far as price, it doesn’t disappoint anywhere. At the heart of the Dragster RR is a three-cylinder, four-stroke engine with a total displacement of 798 cubic inches (48.68 cubic inches). Internal friction has been further reduced due to the DLC coating on the new tappets and the different materials used for the valve guides. It packs 140 horsepower and 64.2 ft-lb of torque into a very compact package. The six-speed, constant mesh transmission allows precise control of the gears for an exceptional experience.
The Dragster RR is not just about power, it’s also about precise control. It compares favorably in the technology department to other MV Agusta motorcycles. The bike’s electronics have seen a huge improvement, with a new IMU inertial platform that enables the traction control to be managed with precise sensitivity based on the lean angle The bike is outfitted with an integrated ignition-injection system MVICS 2.1 and a full ride-by-wire throttle body by Mikuni. The engine control unit comes with ion-sensing technology that controls detonation and misfire. You’ll also find an electronic quick-shifter.
Comparing well with other Italian motorcycle manufacturers, the Dragster RR features a steel tubular trellis frame, Marzocchi upside down forks and a Sachs, single shock in the rear. The front and rear brakes are from Brembo, with the ABS system provided by Continental MK100, featuring Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation and a cornering function. Other technology packed in the Dragster includes the MV Ride App, cruise control, and launch control. It’s also equipped with aluminum front fender side supports, a tank damper, and a full-LED headlight that features an effective cornering function.
The 2023 MV Agusta Dragster RR starts at $19,998 USD/$22,448 CAD

2023 MV Agusta Dragster RR Features
Electronics
From the dashboard to the ABS, taking in the controls and the firmware of the control unit: the electronics on the new Dragster RR have taken a huge step forward in quality, thanks in part to the arrival of the new IMU inertial platform, which reads the spatial positioning of the motorcycle and enables traction controls to be managed with great sensitivity based on the lean angle.Technology
The weight distribution, the refined chassis and suspension as well as the Dragster’s unique character are the main characteristics of a machine that was created for the most demanding riding enthusiasts.Safety
When you can concentrate purely on riding, you automatically increase the fun. And when safety is covered by a Continental ABS system with cornering function and Rear Wheel Lift-up Mitigation, there’s nothing to worry about. The system mitigates the pressure exerted on the front brake to avoid rear-wheel lift.2023 MV Agusta Dragster RR Photos
