Hello,

Fitst of al this is my first post so...: HI there!

I'm onno, I just ordered an nc750x in black (can't wait till the 9th!!!).
I'd like to say this forum has been more than helpful with all my questions BRILLIANT!

Now i'm looking to buy some cases and decided I'm going for these:

The older style trekker's from givi...

As shown above they're available in black nowdays :D

I'm doubting if this will look nice on a black nc750x...
At first I was thinking about the silver ones but after seing this picture I'm not sure anymore... the bike looks 1/3 aluminium like this... especially since the shiny exhaust will be a carbon one too

I think I like the all-black look but i can't be sure because I can't find any pictures of these black trekkers on a black NC-X
Does anyone have these???

Gr Onno

PS: asked the same question in another forum, but the answer was not given there

Welcome to the forum. I can't help with the question.

Just show, you'll never see again (except my pics) those are made by myself. Plastic material called "forex"

Google says Forex is a plastic sign material. Welcome to the forum. What a way to steal a thread;), no offense intended. Now you have a lot of people wondering if you would like to make more of those fairings and sell them to us. When I first saw your photos of the fairing on your bike I really thought you had posted pictures to the wrong forum.

Are those the 37 or 45 liter boxes? Will they fit the regular Monkey racks?

37 Liter boxes and they will not fit regular Monokey pannier mounts but the top box (which I have but not shown mounted) does fit the Monokey rack. Make sense? In other words, you use a specific Trekker Outback pannier mount (which uses a Monokey) and attach a regular Monokey rack to it if you want to mount the matching Trekker Outback top box.

Anyway, MonoKey it is a very, VERY slick system, taking only seconds to remove cases or top box and the mounts (to my eye anyway) look OK when running around naked...

Hello,

Just tought I'd post the pictures, I ordered them and they just came in.
What do you guys think?

Gr onno

I always like those Givi trekers,,,and they look even better in black....I love the way they open too, much like my old Krausers only better....

I sprayed myself, with foliatec, wich is the same of plastidip... i belive any Black mate spray is fine.
Ps. You have to spray inside, so outside will be shining Black.

Black Trekkers on red bike

Yesterday I finally had a chance to get out and go for ride for the first time since putting on my new Trekker bags a couple weeks ago.

The top box is a Kappa 53 liter that I've had for a while.

I'm also looking at the GIVI trekkers. Does anyone know the max size for the top box. I told my dealer I wanted the 46trekker but he said he didn't know if that would work. I'm looking at the 33's for the sides. Also in Black cause I too think it looks pretty darn cool.

This is the same bike I have just purchased. Besides the trekkers what other mods have you done? I'm thinking of adding the Barkbuster storms, GIVI crash guard, GIVI s310 auxilliary lights and denali sound bomb.

Dennis, there is a thread with pics of various bags on members bikes. Would you mind posting your pics there too? I am requesting this because that thread is linked to a FAQ question and these cases are not in the thread yet. http://nc700-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=5412

Thanks,
Marc
