Thank you for the link ....i was sooooo close to buying the D4's for the bike this fall BUT decided to wait over winter to decide. Sounds like they should be a good choice !!!

You might also be interested in the ADVMonster.com Model 30 lights. I've used them now for about 45,000 miles with no issues at all. They are a 10 degree spot light...tight enough that I use them with no issues in freeway traffic at night in the rain when the pavement seems to suck up all the light that hits it. Cost is reasonable at $50 per light.

I did a comparison with another rider who had the same kind of bike and the Denali lights installed. The difference was noticeable. The Model 30 puts out 1500 lumens...about what a halogen low beam headlight puts out.
