FAQ help needed

Q: My trip meter will NOT reset! What do I do?

A: Read the owner's manual. Most often the button pressing sequence used is incorrect. The left button cycles through the odometer, tripmeter A, and tripmeter B. Holding the right button a few seconds while the desired trip meter is displayed resets it to zero.

Based on a question I had earlier today, under Electrical / charging sysetem, the NC 700x has 420 watts (or approximately 30 amps) rated at 5,000 rpm.

Make it easier for yourself. Half of the questions can be answered with: "Read the owner's manual". :p

I Like it, but I think your question is really how much electrical power is available to add accessories to a stock NC. Does anyone know the answer to this question (short, sweet, and factual please). I don't have a service manual so I don't know if the info is in there.

I searched the thread and didn't see any mention of how to check the oil level. A person who comes from a different make of bike and fails to read their owner's manual may be screwing the dipstick in to check the oil or--more unlikely but possible--checking it with the bike on the side stand, either of which will result in incorrect oil levels.
