Hi, from Coos Bay, Oregon.
I bought my silver 2012 NC700X new in the summer of 2013, luv'd the price. Immediately got the Honda tall windshield, top case with a Harley cargo rack mounted on top, side bags & all associated mounting doodads, heated handgrips, 12v socket & associated electrical doodad, center kickstand, and Pirelli MT 60's front and back put on. Next was getting power hard wired to my Garmin mounted on the windshield mounting bar. The next spring I took a cross country trip to Gettysburg Battlefield, check mark on the bucket list. Last year, m/c camping to Cocoa Beach (was looking for Jeannie) and Key West and once again to Gettysburg (I turned right instead of a planned left at Jacksonville). I found m/c camping difficult with the lack of carrying capacity until I happened to see a heavy metal cruiser pulling a small trailer and a cooler mounted on it. Searching the web, I found lots of small trailers but no hitches for our NC700X's. I found this forum when I ran across a thread about trailers here and quickly paid a subscription and became an Elite member. I am learning more (and spending more) everyday as the threads arrive in my email box. I hope to meet members as our paths crisscross our continent. Oh, BTW, I am having a small m/c trailer (moto-mule) made for me now and it should be ready in a few weeks. I will be testing it out on a planned hunting trip to western Kentucky late October. Adios...
