I don't understand why any owner of an NC700X would feel compelled to accessorize it. Personally, except for the Sargent seat, Givi luggage, SW-Motech rack and mounts, brake and clutch levers, windshield, Ram mounts, USB port, 12V accessory outlet, fender extender, center stand and Go Cruise I've kept mine completely stock.:)

I've put as follows..
Honda extortionist price centre stand.
skidmark rear hugger & fender extender
electronic chain oiler
rack(my own)& top box.
wired 12v Universal Cigarette Socket Lighter Accessory for the charger.

Honda Centre Stand (the only reason it's not standard is to rip us off)
Honda Heated Grips (Expensive but good)
Honda 12 V socket
Honda Touring Pack (top box & panniers with rack - special deal on offer at time I ordered the bike late last year)
Skidmarx hugger
Pyramid Fender Extender
Bruudt Rad Guard

Will wire in and fit a Tourmate Nav Unit which I managed to find at knock down price on Ricardo.ch

For formal occasions, a simple single strand of pearls, perhaps an unostentatious set of small diamond or birthstone earrings.

Installed:

Pyramid Fenda Extenda
Pyramid Hugger
Madstad Windshield
GIVI E55 Monokey Topbox with mounting hardware
Ultimate Beadrider Seat 13 x 13
Grab On Grips Grip Covers
Honda OEM center stand

Bought and waiting for installation (MOSTLY because I want to do it all at once with the bike opened up):

Gorilla Alarm & pager
Fiamm Highway blasters with relay
ContourRoam Camera with handlebar mount
Admore light kit for E55 Topcase
Tire-SafeGuard TPMS
Aerostich PDM60
Pirelli Scorpion Trail Dual Sport tires
RoadPro RPPS-16ES 12-volt Auxiliary Power Port or Outlet
iFlash Dual USB Car Lighter Charger Adapter with 3A Output
Tusk 12 Volt 12V Power Socket Plug Motorcycle
ADAPTIV TECHNOLOGIES TPX RADAR AND LASER DETECTOR SYSTEM 2.0
2Wheel Ride GC-1 Go Cruise Black 7/8" Motorcycle Throttle Assist
Highway foot pegs (for the skidplate below)
Dale's windshield nut plates

Wanting and waiting on:

Dale's DCT skidplate
Kisan SignalMinder for the NC700

AND this doesn't count all the tools, clothes, rain gear, books, bike covers and OTHER accessories (toll pass and arm holder), etc.... Expensive for a newbie to start riding if you ask me.

Somebody got to keep the economy going..................DOG is doing his fair share:eek:

Dog,
All things are relative. This is a serious bargain if you compare the NC700 to something like an airplane or BOAT (Break Out Another Thousand).:)

A boat is a hole in the water you throw money into.

A motorcycle is the dry-land equivalent.

Barkbuster hand guards
Heated grips
Ram mount with the x mount
12v plug on the bars
12v plug in the frunk
hugger
Honda full luggage and mounting racks
Power for heated pants

I think that is it for now.

1)Tall Honda screen - noisy but fewer bugs on my face mask
2)Noise canceling ear buds - not technically a mod but required due to #1
3)12V plug - ruined one wire so far closing the frunk lid on it
4) honda Leg deflectors - look cool
5) honda Foot deflectors- made in Italy, like me
6) Honda Center stand - best accessory for parking in tight space and getting full tank of gas
7) twisted throttle Cover for radiator - looks better than necked
8) Bark busters - no pressure on hand and feel more protected
9) RAM Mount and holder for using my iPhone as my GPS - find my way home
10) Mount for Polaroid camera - show family where I've been
11) Soon be have custom passenger seat backrest (hurry up John!) - keep daughters helmet from clinking on mine
12) Reflective face shield (again, cool), new mesh jacket and gloves to beat the heat.

Shoot, can I redo the poll?

I'm guessing it ought to be obvious where I got most of the ideas for all those mods....:)

There is nothing new under the sun. To make something from scratch, you have to first create the universe. So, we are all copiers - even those of us who think ourselves ingenious. We just don't know who we are copying.

1) Honda back rack
2) Honda hard saddle bags
3) Honda trunk
4) Honda center stand
5) Honda light bar
6) Honda upper wind deflectors
7) Honda lower wind deflectors
all of the above bought with the bike (20% discount)
8) Oxford Heaterz heated grips
9) Cycle Gear 24v power port
10) RAM handlebar mount for GPS
11) Cee Bailey's windscreen
12) Barkbuster hand guards
13) Rivco highway pegs
14) small thermometer

You know that you can't add more heavy use electrical items and not have problems.

Not without adding a Relay, You MUST put in a fuse & a relay, otherwise you will have problems.
