Couple bits of additional advice here:
1 - don't use a knife you like. This will dull the blade quickly.
2 - keep some bandaids around. I'm impressed that these dudes didn't bleed 1 bit. As a precaution, use the bandaids before you even get started. Index finger, thumb, and middle finger and you should be MOSTLY protected.
3 - Make sure you get the right kind of alcohol. There are often 2 varieties - 70% and 90% in US pharmacies. The 70% will work, but not as well. Also, skip the mint flavored stuff. Trust me.
