Nc700 skid plate

here is the finished skid plate , will make one more in a week or two, working on new fuel tank for rear seat area.

THE TIRES ARE CONTINENTAL TKC 150/70-17 120/70-17 THEY FIT ON WITHOUT MODS, IM MAKEING A FUEL CELL FOR THE REAR SEAT AREA OUT OF ALUMINUM, THAT WILL AUTO FEED TO THE MAIN TANK. SOON AS IM DONE WITH THE TANK I WILL MAKE ANOTHER SKID PLATE TO SEE HOW MUCH TIME AND MATERIAL IT WILL TAKE TO COME UP WITH A PRICE IF ANYONE WOULD LIKE ONE.. I will have to get a dct model in to see if all the dimensions will work on that model. I HAVE ABOUT TWELVE HUNDRED MILES OF DIRT ROADS SO FAR. How much did the speedometer vary with the different size tires?

I have about 3,000 mile on my bike w/ those same tires. They work well in soft sand as well!
 
Never cross water sitting down , to hard to see the rocks and center of gravity is to high, always go with the water flow it will be much safer.
It looks like fun, did your feet get wet?? Just cleaned up my bike for the seattle bike show next week. So cant work on fuel tank and skid plates till after the show.
 
It was my first time crossing water, my feet didn't got wet, after this small river we driven in heavy rain for almost 2 hours, my GORE-TEX gear passed the test and i went home dry. :D
 
Did you manage that water crossing on stock tires whiteyez? @ hondabikepro so you recommend standing up to cross water? I am a new rider, only about 1200 mi under my belt so far, all on the NC so I'm interested in learning whatever I can from more experienced riders to improve my skill and be a safer rider. My first instinct would be that standing up would raise your center of gravity even more..
