New to me used bike checklist

Jguarfn28 - I have been told the lights are a good thing, but also was counseled against it. We have deer issues here in Eastern NC and bike lose that battle if you hit one. I am thinking the wide beam fog lights would be best. How much amperage can the stock charging system handle? The 55watt halogens are SO much cheaper than the good LED ones. I will wire directly to the battery with a fuse and high capacity switch somewhere.

I would highly recommend the LED units over the Halogen ones. As you mentioned, the current draws are "HIGH".

I use their LED headlight bulb but do not have the aux lights yet. Don't ride much at night so has been lower priority for me.

I am using cheap 10W LED lights I got from Amazon. When I bought them I disassembled them and sealed them up with silicon sealant to make sure they were water proof, but two years and 20k miles later, they are still working great.
