I must admit I'm lurking on this site to see how the nc700 works in real life. I just sold my Versys and have a parking spot to fill. I hope the dct works out.

Hello ChitownPete. Welcome. I think you'll find the DCT to be a stable, nimble machine, in sport/manual mode. You get to focus on enjoying the journey. A coworker of mine has the Versys. He was eyeing the NC700, but was impatient to wait until Honda delivered in Jul/Aug2012. I think he's wishing he waited ;-).
FYI, if you haven't already done so, get a headstart by reading the pdf manual online.
In the end, you have to be happy with your choice, as long as you're on two wheels, that's all that matters. Good luck.
