Great idea for a thread! Isn’t 2021 the 10th year of production? The 2021 is a significant refresh of Honda's New Concept motorcycle now in it's 9th year of production. Post your 2021 model impressions, questions, and answers here.
There are an insane amount of pages about setting the display and that tiny colored bar in the manual. Wow. And the whole process is so convoluted. On my 2021 DCT, in the upper right hand corner of the gauge there is a little bar.. you can see it in this photo and it is orange in first gear
when the DCT shifts to second gear that light turns (example) blue (I didn't memorize them yet)
shifts to third ii turns yellow
shifts to fourth it turns red
shifts to fifth it turns purple
and when it shifts to 6th it turns green
and in reverse going down
it's silly since there is already a numerical gear indicator to tell you what gear it is in.
I thought about putting a piece of electrical tape over it, but I'd rather turn it off, if anyone can tell me if that's possible and how.
Also if someone can tell me how to set the clock?
More important, who cares if the present gear is even displayed? At any one time, you are in basically one of three gears: The right gear, a gear that’s too high, or a gear that’s too low. If you are in any gear but the right one, you change up or down until it’s right. Assigning a number or color to the gear and displaying it is really unnecessary. On my 2021 DCT, in the upper right hand corner of the gauge there is a little bar.. you can see it in this photo and it is orange in first gear

I have a 15 month old foster son at home who can change the iPhone settings to a different language. If you want to borrow him for a few minutes I'm sure he can change the time on your clock too. Also if someone can tell me how to set the clock?

Wow, I'll try those revmatch and see if it works. If they do, you are my hero! Today that bar was purple all day, but I was pressing buttons all over the place last night trying to figure stuff out. There are an insane amount of pages about setting the display and that tiny colored bar in the manual. Wow. And the whole process is so convoluted.
Here’s my attempt at deciphering all of it. Hope this is at least somewhat helpful!
Turning off the colored bar (page 62)
I think you can turn it off by pressing and holding the down arrow button, which should show a “Color Off Mode” setting. From there, I think you press the select button to set “Color Off Mode” to ON (???), and then press and hold the down arrow button again to get back to the regular display.
Setting the clock (pages 44-48)
As for setting the clock, I think you press and hold the down arrow AND the mode buttons to get to the “Time Format” menus. From there, press the mode button 3 times (this gets you past the 12/24 hour clock and date settings). Finally, you should be able to set hours and minutes — press the up/down buttons to set the hours, then press the mode button to move on to minutes and do the same. To go back to the regular display, press and hold the down arrow AND the mode buttons.

Trade with me. Mine doesn't have colored flashing lightsYea its on page 62 in my manual and called Multi Color Line information setting.... a little different on the 2021 .... and the directions are confusing and it don't work for me ( I probably don't know what the little arrows mean between some are white, some are black, some are gray, and some have little diagonal lines in them). I'm 71 and not used to interpreting directions like this. I want Color Off Mode disabled so there are no colors flashing

I’m bummed Honda changed the display so much for 2021. I really liked the previous display’s inverted colors, funky color-changing tach, and much simpler interface.Trade with me. Mine doesn't have colored flashing lights
So the color is on because the color off mode is off? It’s not black and white.
