just look at that blue sky!
any way cheers for rubbing it in BttrThnWrk :(

We used to have a hilarious ad on TV from some Tourism agency years ago, enticing people to travel to (I think) Arizona for their holidays.

It was a *Breaking News!* fake report on an "Arizona news channel", with locals panicking about a bizarre weather system moving in and creating havoc and worry. It was "The Cloud".

Cameras would pan up to a tiny little fluffy white cloud high in the sky, and then back to the news room with horrified reporters and shots of people in the street looking up and pointing at the sky all aghast.

It was very funny :D

Yesterday I took a ride out to the east side of Tucson to Agua Caliente Park, about a 40 - 50 mile round trip from my house. I was scouting picnic areas for an upcoming family get-together. Nice area. On the way back, I managed to get a picture of some Palo Verde trees in bright yellow bloom. It's too bad that tons of pollen go along with the blooms...

I'm headed north, with the Catalina mountains in the background.

Agua Caliente? Palo Verde? Catalina? Hey! Is that a spanish region or what? LOL

No riding for a few days or more

Moved the NCX to the back of the garage, so I could get the ATV snow plow out (again) :(
We picked up 2 feet or more of snow over the past 3 days in N. Colorado! The roads (and now my driveway) are plowed and we're supposed to get warmer temps by the weekend, so hopefully will be able to get the NCX back out next week.

Wow, that's a lot of snow for April! The thing about Colorado though is that it's beautiful all four seasons. I guess it's how you look at it. I would say your glass is half full most of the time (just not April 18th when others are able to ride!!) Hang in there!

It seems to me this is a new product from Puig, the rear hugger that I knew was not that way, it looks much better...

BTW, what rear tyre is that? BT023?

It's the OEM Metzeler, soon to be replaced with something that doesn't get so squirrely with a pound or two of pressure change. Well I guess they have taught me to monitor my tire pressures on my street bike more closely. Now I don't ride without checking, it was true on my race bikes but I was lazy on my street rides and they got checked maybe once a week.

When I asked about staying on this forum several members said that I was welcome to do so. I'm sure that there are non NC owners on here. Sorry if this annoys you

Rocker buddy, you have been here a long time and it's your love of motorcycles and the ride that makes you always welcome in my opinion. I look forward to hearing about your new adventures on your new ride.

Thank you very much. I will not be having many adventures with the Deauville as it will be my commuter bike. However I do hope to post some photos of my trips on my other new bike ( some of us are just greedy ) which is a Honda CBF 1000 FAB

Honda 700X #2 018.jpgHonda 700X #2 016.jpgHonda 700X #2 021.jpgInstalled Kuryakyn adjustable highwaypegs for metric cruisers with 1.35 inch frame tubes as the 700X. Very solid mount, folded back they tuck in to my foot deflectors, Mine are adjusted forward and my legs are just barely bent at the knees. Adjustable in all directions 4 inches. I do long hauls and they should help with the monkey butt.
