2013 Calendar

Believe when I say we do have tropical downpours and the Everglades are right behind my house so bugs! Forgetboutit!

As far as parking the bike for the winter, or spear fishing, we roll all year long!

I work with a guy that said you could just about set your watch by the rain showers in Florida.
That tall shield looks huge! I bet it will keep the cold wind off me this winter.

I like the windshield on your X. What is it?

"Forgetboutit!" Don't tell me! You are a transplant from New York.

They all look good to me. I went for a ride this morning and took these. I can't decide between them. The first has a small cave hiding in the buttress of rock above my bike. You can tell it's fall here in Tucson because of the wild abandon:rolleyes: of the leaves changing color - you can see the ocotillo leaves behind my bike turning yellow.

What's that on your seat Better? Another thing is what is on the handlebars, I think I see a camera.

Bead pad on the seat (from my ex-Buell). Even though they're wooden beads, they help the seat problem. I'm still trying that idea out to see where it goes.

Canon SD1100IS camera on the bars to record my rides like I told my wife I would. I've got the camera resting on a rubber pad on top of the camera mount, but it's still too bouncy for good video. I'll keep working on that part...

The more rigid your mount the less bounce you'll see, the weight of the camera causes rebound and a soft mount allows it to happen..OR you can buy and try to find a way to mount a steadicam. Been there, done that working on a car commercial-expensive and hard to do. Just try to find a way to mount to the most rigid spot you can find.

Sounds too expensive and probably too hard to do for what I need it for. If worst comes to worst, I can always just tell my wife to bob her head up and down in time with the videos when she's watching them. But I'll keep trying to steady what I've already got some more, anyway.

Thanks.

Another one from me taken before some of the mods were added. Remembered i had it after seeing Supermeks last pic which looks a real nice road to ride.

SuperMek, TC3. Great shots. It just goes to show that the NC700 is at home anywhere... This calendar business is going to be tough choosing the scenes.
