I've had the 2-piece suit for about 12 years...it zips together and can be worn as a 1-piece. It is great and very well made...it's washable and still looks like new. I luckily have not tested it out as well as Beemerphile, but I do agree with him on the venting. Because it is too warm, I now...
Congratulations, enjoy your new ride...and welcome! I have a little over 900 miles on mine and love riding it...it handles great and is a lot of fun! I have been getting about 68 mpg. I had the rear rack and 12v outlet installed before delivery and waiting for the centerstand on backorder...
Once you ride the bike you will love it! I have about 800 miles on mine now and my only real complaint is the seat...after an hour of riding it is uncomfortable, and you will slide forward on braking.

Thank you...very much appreciated! I like it better than the screws, and mine is silver so it might show even less. Thank you for the tips...I was thinking about taking the fender off to do it also.
duk2n...could you please post a photo of your install? I just received my extenda and was also thinking about using rivets to secure it...would like to see how it looks first.
I have an older version of this called a Throttle Rocker. I have used it on all of my bikes over the years. It is a simple inexpensive solution that works really well.
I really could have used this a few days ago. When I put it all back together I had parts leftover...had to remove and re-install again to get it right.
Congratulations on the new ride. Your comments remind me of riding my 1st bike home 30 years ago. I had to ride on the highway about 30 miles to get home and the wind scared the hell out of me...I held the bars with a death grip. As Rocker said, it will all be second nature...Enjoy the ride...
I am using a Nolan N104 medium. It fits in the storage compartment...a little snug, I think the next size shell (XL and up) might not fit in the compartment.
Yes Joe, the tank was fully latched. I was parked uphill and maybe that made a pool along the seam between the door and the body that seeped in. As I said I will have the dealer take a look to see if something is out of place or misaligned since no one else seems to be having this issue.
I had the same reaction...I got that, the helmet wire, and a fuse puller. If you look in the owners manual it lists the tools that should be there. There should be about 12 tools in the kit...we are missing all of the wrenches.
