On tuesday, I took a ride on the back roads around here. It was 60+ degrees and today it is dropping to the single digits and snowing like crazy. Shoveled the drive 4 times already. Good timing ride wise. And it felt soooo good !!

I traded a V7C for the NC700X I have now. It was an 09 or a 2010. Can't remember. It was unique around here and retro cool. Mine shook so bad the spark plugs came loose and the only thing that kept them from blowing out were the wires. The gear box was not smooth and the linkage vibrated loose...

I have the Power Bronze. It looks a bit homely compared to the sleeker models in most folks eyes. But it does a great job of keeping crap off the shock and swing arm pivot. I have side cases installed that never come off. So I can't really see it anyway. Just my 2 cents worth.

I'm wondering about the fact that the fender would have to be raised considerably to clear the 19" tire . Then the fender colliding with the lower clamp upon compression. If the 700x had not been designed with a beak in the 1st place , would we owners be making or dream of making all these mods...

They may be a bit extreme, but it is another company showing interest in our brand and model of motorcycle. And for that, I for one, am grateful. Any new interest is very good for us as consumers and owners. Just MHO folks.
