What is Best and Easiest Way to fix Seat

I have done the Show-Key mod and added the Sit & Fly cover. Both have worked for me. My longest rides are just a tad over 200 miles, prior to making the modifications the seat was very uncomfortable - now I ride in comfort. For about $25, it is worth the investment to see how it works for...

Did the 8000 mile valve clearance check/adjustment

Thanks for the post. I adjusted my valves (8K miles maintenance) as well and they were also very tight, both intake and exhaust. I was thinking that something I was doing was totally out of whack. Good to know that others have found their valves to be tight. Wondering if this could be a...

Best Chain and sprocket to purchase ?

I have adhered to the practice of changing out the front sprocket every ~10K miles, and then swap out the chain and both sprockets the next 10-15K miles. The reasoning is that the front sprocket turns about 10X faster than the rear sprocket, and it wears out much faster causing the chain to...

    Sit&Fly / Sit & Fly Seat Cover

I also ordered the Sit&Fly from ebay. The largest size, also gives you enough to cover the pillion seat as well. I have already modified the seat via the Showkey method, and along with the Sit&Fly cover the stock seat is much improved for long trips.

Installing a Madstad NC700 Windshield - Mike Mas

I also have the MadStad Windshield, I really enjoy it. I previously had the CalSci Windshield. The adjustability of the MadStad is a really great feature, which allows each rider to customize the wind protection. Safe riding

2016: What did you do to/with your NC700 today?

Installed Puig rear tire hugger and front extenda fenda. The rear tire hugger so far has really helped keep the underside of the NC700 clean. Hoping the extenda fenda will also help protect the radiator

MadStad adjustable windshield system for the Honda NC700x

I just installed 20" MadStad, upgraded from a 22" CalSci windshield. Between the two, I do personally prefer the MadStad - the adjustability with the hardware provides superior wind protection. In addition, the CalSci had poor brackets which caused the windshield to vibrate/ move a lot at...

    2016 NC700X Windscreen options...

I just installed the MadStad 20" windshield and mounting brackets. I had upgraded from the CalSci windshield 22". The MadStad is much better even with the the shorter version. The adjustability of the windshield really makes a huge difference. Also with the CalSci, the brackets were flimsy...

    DCT In Review

I purchased a used 2013 DCT about 3 months ago. When I went to test ride her, I had already made up my mind that I wasn't going to like it... for all the reasons already mentioned: It is not a real bike, It is only for beginners, It is slow, yada yada yada. Anyway, only took me about 10...
