Did the 8000 mile valve clearance check/adjustment

Thanks for the post. I adjusted my valves (8K miles maintenance) as well and they were also very tight, both intake and exhaust. I was thinking that something I was doing was totally out of whack. Good to know that others have found their valves to be tight. Wondering if this could be a reason for my lower than average fuel consumption, I average about 50-54mpg. If I notice anything after the valve adjustment I will make sure to repost.

Dont forget that honda has changed the valve check/adjustment mileage to every 16k

For the first couple I would stick with 8k, they close up pretty tight over just 8k early on. After the second or third valve adjustment mine haven't moved much or at all.
