After reading a number of posts about these Givi handguards for the NC700x, I saw them on eBay from a German seller for about $120, delivered to the US. That seems about as inexpensive as I've seen for "barkbuster" type guards ... that mount both at the bar end and on the mirror post. Thought I'd share the eBay link (I've got no affiliation), and I'll let you know how this turns out.

the Givi hand guards arrived from Germany this week and I installed them today. Pretty easy install ... these mount to the end of the grips and on the mirror bolt. The hardest part was figuring out the various washers from the diagram, and making sure to use correct left side bracket for DCT (they include one for DCT and one for Manual). I have Oxford Heated Grips already installed. The Givi's use a longer allen head bolt to replace the stock Phillips (or JIS) bolt on the end of the bars. No need to remove the weights or any of that nonsense. There is, however, contact between the guards and my CalSci medium screen at the full lock position, left and right -- not sure whether I'll just leave that and manage it or consider trimming the screen a bit. Here are the photos:

Yeah good quality pics, and I like the look of those, it looks like it would be great to put some turn signals or just running lights on. I installed barkbuster VPS, should have got the storm.

I have the same hand-guards.
I find the look too bulky, but the wind/rain protection is effective.
This is a very easy fit on my NC750X DCT (no problem with the Givi screen), but they increase the overall width of the bike.

Nice looking hand guards. What brand are your highway pegs?

They are knockoffs of kuryakyn's I found on Amazon. They don't fit the SW Motech crash bars well (the bars are 27mm and the pegs are 1") so they are still a "temporary" mount. They work ok for now to let me stretch my legs a bit now and then.

Ordered mine from EBay. Delayed shipping because apparently they applied my payment to someone else's order. Hoping they arrive sooner than later.

Update 3/24: despite taking a week to ship because of the aforementioned issue. It shipped 2 days ago from seller and arrived in NYC last night. Not sure how long customs will take but might arrive by end of this week beginning of next.

Just ordered a set from Motostorm in Italy. I bought my Givi luggage from them and it worked out well. These will replace the cheap pair that came on the bike and which are really ineffective protection.
