Hello. I'm an older guy, retired for six years now. I've had many bikes over my 50+ years of riding, mostly Japanese bikes. I'm interested in buying an NC700X or NC700S and will have a few questions.

The answer to one of your possible questions that you haven't asked yet, is that the NC700S has never been sold in the United States. You would need to somehow import one if you're living in the US and that's the model you want.

Not sure exactly what you consider the desert SW, but I rode my NC700
X out that way in June '16 from NC. Had a great time.
