So I made it back to the good old U.S.A. Montana , the weather is nice I'm still camping had a nice sunset. Stopped in Sturgis, couple of weeks till the big doings had breakfast. The countryside around here is a great place to ride except around Rally time. Stopped to look at, Oops just dreaming , maybe someday. Wall Drug oh boy,get the hot roast beef sandwich, first time here was 60 years ago. Last picture is a campground in Murdo S.D. So first big motorcycle trip I took was 1967 , we stayed in this very campground. Didn't have an interstate highway behind it then. Interesting story I was riding a big 650 BSA about the fastest thing on the road back then about as fast as our NC 700, yup that's how much faster thing have got. So my buddy had fried his plugs in his 250 Yamaha that day , had got one changed but the other one was difficult. So that night he was attempting to get the other plug out when it snapped and left just the threads in the head. So oh boy now what? we take the head off walk up to the gas station and the guy puts an easy out in and tries to back it out, breaks the easy out ,, now we are screwed. He says come back in the morning guy down the street can fix it. Yup next morning the guy has a tiny saw blade he cuts it in 3 pieces and chisels the threads out. Cleans the threads out with a tap . We put the head back on Yamaha put in new plug and continue on our marry way. Ya in the good old days we could actually work on these things.
