Does VA have a state sales Tax? I could check but then I wouldn't get a chance to welcome you to the NC club. BigE

Yes, 3% we also have personal property tax, but I won't have to pay for that until next year.

I was going to, but I ended up with a better deal at Shenandoah Honda in Winchester.
I didn't even think about that yet techie, I'll have to do that now.

That's where I looked and test rode one. But he wouldn't give me the price I wanted on the MS1100 I traded in and instead, purchased from Ridersville in Berkeley Springs, WV. Funny though, the Ridersville people wouldn't let me take a test ride on one but gave me the desired trade in price.

I am stalking too...sales tax on all registered vehicles boats planes whatever here is capped at $300...If I got that offer today on the one I looked at i would have two bikes in my garage tonight. One headed for Craigslist just before bike week...... Dealer gave me an OTD price of $7960. The only Honda accessories I would have purchased would be the taller shield and all wind deflection accessories. The bags look woefully narrow. Like a briefcase. I'd get throw overs for things that cannot fit in the "Gas Tank" Great Deal...I will have to travel as there is only one dealer and one bike in stock here.
