I don't see any reason to do either. I used to own a Suzuki C50 and frequented a forum called volusiariders.com. Even though the bike hadn't been called the Volusia since 2004 when it was converted to fuel injection in 2005, nobody seemed to care and both bikes were discussed together without...
Most of the time I ride to commute. I somewhat regret I didn't get a used Silverwing and saved about half what I spent but the idea of the dual-clutch transmission appealed to the geek in me.
One more time. Here is the left side of my bike. There is no gear shifter. Those are SM Motech guards. The sticker is still on them. I don't know why Twisted Throttle decided they no longer fit the DCT.
Edit: They were purchased from Twisted Throttle late last summer.
Visors can usually be replaced with new ones. I banged one up real bad hitting my head on a pipe in a parking garage while it was flipped up. Didn't feel a thing but it was cracked.
I don't normally replace a helmet until it smells bad and I can no longer do anything about it (~2 years), but...
IIRC, he had his painted in the Seattle area before putting a single mile on it and I *think* there is an old thread here about him doing it but I just can't seem to find it.
Progressive does consider it a sport bike, but I've read on another forum they have different sub categories for sport bikes. It isn't in the same sport sub category as a 600cc or a 1 liter sport bike. They also tweak the rates as claims data on a specific new model comes in.
All is possible. The horn was ordered through my mechanic to be installed with several other accessories at the time. The horn worked on the work bench but he reported it blew the fuse on the bike and didn't want to investigate any further because he didn't have any more spares for the fuse...
Last time I was at the local dealer I bought my DCT from which was before the 2013 model showed up, they still had a manual sitting in the corner but no DCT to be seen. Around that time I read on a forum that a dealer in the next county over couldn't get rid of a DCT but sold out of the manual...
I have them on my DCT. I bought them through Twisted Throttle. My mechanic put them on for me though so I cannot report any problems but he didn't complain about them and he usually does when he runs into problems.
The only thing I can guess is that they had a few grumpy customers who...
I have the Motech stand. I bought it early in the bike's US release when getting Honda accessories was difficult (and I didn't know about Webike Japan). If I had to outfit the bike all over again today, I would just save my money and get the Honda one since they are now easily available. I...
