All I can think of, is a 130 seems to be pretty wide for a front tire. My 120 TKC80 feels like a little steam roller wheel, lol

I seem to recall one or two folks raising their front fenders a wee bit with some 1" or so brackets at the fork mounts, but honestly can't remember which model/size of tire it was that needed it, sorry...

You may want to check in the tire tech forum- I think more than a few members have reported good results with Shinko 705's though.

Why don't you buy the stock front size ? The Shinko 120/70 17 is available...if you buy the 130/80 17 you'll have to raise the front fender as LBS previously said + can't see any advantage to have a front tire so large...

i did not see the 120/70/17, so that will be the one I will order, thanks guys. What about the rear any issues there?

Definitely recommend you go with the stock size on the front. I'm running the 170/60/17 rear Shinko. The clearance on the Puig hugger is a little tight, but so far no problems.
