Question Frunk indents in bottom plastic

I have a 2018 NC750XD. On the bottom of the frunk, there are indents of a certain shape in the front of the bottom of the frunk. Obviously these were put here intentionally. Does anyone know what their purpose is/what is supposed to go there? See the attachment, the lower left drawing.

I understood that in some world market(s), a U-lock could be supplied and the frunk was molded and equipped to store this lock.
