(One of the reasons why I always had the camera when bicycling was having the evidence if something happens... same goes with NC now)
 
The final total on the estimate was $4635. The picture is from a camera phone, pretty poor resolution. The other side bounced off of the guy's truck. The pipe was smashed, tire marks, and scratches where my boot drug across while I exited.

Just for reference, the parts that comprise the foot peg, not including the pin and spring, after sales tax, $97. The rear foot peg, with pin and spring I believe, $65.
 
And my new helmet: dayglow yellow, with a gold tinted shield. It's highly visible. And the obnoxious driving lights are coming after the repair.

You were having trouble installing those H&B crash bars, how did you end up installing them? Moved the brake line?
