What's the 'LH' stand for?

Just a morbid curiosity question. When I bought my bike, it was listed as a NC 700XLH. I am still not sure what the 'LH' means. If a NC 700XD means dual clutch, it seems like something like a NC 700XM ('M' for manual) would make sense. LH means ....

L is the designation CA or 50 state emissions vs 49 state emissions
J will 2018. They skip I because it looks like 1
H is the 2017
G is the 2016
F is the 2015

I think it's the other way around. The 700's sold in the USA have the 38.1 KW engine (51 hp). I was under the impression that UK versions of the 700 were rated at 35 KW (47 hp) due to A2 licensing restrictions.
 
Yes I think most were 47bhp but some versions had the full 51. So much for that (lightly applied) theory ;)
