NC700X, May 2012, Manual shift 30,000 miles.
NC700S, 2012 ('62 UK plate), 29200 miles. I ride in London and have seen a couriers bike (same age) on over 51000 miles.
Great accomplishment Strat! Just one question though. Since The NC700X arrived in the US the last week of July, 2012, how did you get one in May?
'Sorry, I frequently confuse dates and time... I'm not much the master of the watch or calendar....
This is 2014, so I got it in May of 2013.... even though it's model 2012.... thus the confusion... I meant to say the purchase year, and put the model year instead.
I keep a journal, so May 6 2014 was my one year anniversary. 30,000 during that one year.
I'm on my ...
2nd chain (changed to D.I.D. VX2 at 16K miles)
3rd set of tires (Metzler changed at 8K, PR2s 24K, Continental Motions)
2nd set of sprockets (stock)
2nd set of brake pads (thanks to the guys here on the board!)
2nd seat (switched to Sargent)
2nd air filter (k&n)
51st summer (for me) begins in June.
Wait, May 6, 2014 "was" your one year anniversary? Can I join your world where that's already the past? I could use a fast-forward button right about now...
OK... I got out the current journal and looked. I rode a 2012 NC700x home from Arizona on April 6, 2013.... so April 6 of 2014 is one year later. I think I got that right this time....
the point is... in approx. 365 days (from some date to some date!) I covered 30,000 miles.
