That looks awesome! No transformer headlight, but a plain, simple and elegant looking timeless design! I love it!

I think it's just a photoshop job though :( Notice the three horns. They forgot to remove the original horn down there lol

Also, I don't imagine they would go to the trouble of mucking with the instruments, really...

Oh well

Done by the user (with help) "Doc Savage" on the german board NC750.de - dein Portal für die Honda NC700 & 750 SerieÂ* . More pictures (even detail pictures during the conversion) are there in this thread, but propably only visible after registration: NC Umbauten? ? Main problem are the cables that are hidden behind the original light. So two ways to go at it: 1. shorten all the cables and hide them out of sight 'somehow' ; or 2. Make a custom casing like he did. Allows also to go back to original at some point.

Changing the lights of the CTX700N is much easier though (done by the user Sigi64 from the same german board (same thread too)):

Get the gauges and lights from a cb1100

That would be perfect and you say it as it was an easy task. So do they fit 1:1 with the same plug? I doubt it ... especially with the DCT you wouldn't know rather you're in sports- or d-mode.

Also gauges are usually quite expensive.

The change on the CTX was a rather inexpensive modification: about 90$ for the headlamp, another 30 for the mount and an unknown sum for the original honda gauge-cover of the "S" (not yet mounted in the picture i posted).

I am looking for the sharing of the person who made this change
