Also because of the width of the front of the seat I have to slide forward every time I come to a stop just to be able to tip-toe it.
Hey Dennis, that's me on full-sized dirt bikes and dualsports, though not because of seat width but because going forward is the only place the seat is low enough to tip-toe, or touch one foot well. But the weight on those machines is less, so I can only imagine what a PITA it must be not to have both a modicum of comfort and at-stop stability. Hope you find a better solution. I myself plan on going for the Shad after reading reviews here and there, in spite of the fact I don't really need the pillion section.
