I did the showkey mod a long time ago. I didn't slide before I put it on. No sliding for me.Does is help with sliding on the seat?

I also did the mod & that helped immensely.I did the showkey mod and Seat Concepts kit.
Big time sliding before both of those, none whatsoever after.
I believe the showkey is the more effective of the two, and no doubt the cheaper.
Congratulations on selling the bike! That did not take long at all.I sold my bike and watched it wheeled into a horse trailer.
The guy drove 14 hours each way to pick it up.
I have never had so much cash in my hand in my life.
He said he would end up spending another $1000 in diesel fuel to get it.
I was sad that I wasn’t sad to see it go.
Thanks. I had lots of interest.Congratulations on selling the bike! That did not take long at all.
Interesting. My buddy is returning to riding had no idea it existed even though he is actively looking. At the same time, most wings are shipped with DCT today.Thanks. I had lots of interest.
Being such a niche bike, I was concerned that most people looking to buy a motorcycle would not know what a DCT is.
Most inquirers knew that Honda makes DCT's and knew what they are all about.
That’s like 160 gallons of diesel. Where on earth did he drive from?I sold my bike and watched it wheeled into a horse trailer.

Sorry I was figuring US $’s$1000 CAD will buy $1000/$2.20 per litre = 455 litres/3.79 litres per US gallon = 120 US gallons of diesel.
He covered 2400 km round trip so that's 2400 X 0.62= 1488 miles/120 = 12.4 miles/US gallon
Not bad for a RAM 2500 pulling a horse trailer at 70 mph
If I ever get back on 2 wheels, it will be at my daughter's lake house where there is no such thing as traffic LOL, and lots of hard packed gravel roads and hard sand to ride on.Sorry I was figuring US $’s
Glad you are both happy.
I hope you can find a way to still get your 2 wheel thrills down the road…..
Those look like fun. Reminds me of my 1st bike, a 78’ Kawasaki KE-175If I ever get back on 2 wheels, it will be at my daughter's lake house where there is no such thing as traffic LOL, and lots of hard packed gravel roads and hard sand to ride on.
So, a likely choice would be a Suzuki Van Van 200 or Yamaha TW 200.
Now that appeals to me.

I had the KE's predecessor a 1972 F7. I have a picture somewhere of me on it. Sister bike picture...Those look like fun. Reminds me of my 1st bike, a 78’ Kawasaki KE-175View attachment 49707
I have an NC700x and a TW 200! Love the TW - has 13,000 miles on it. Reliable, easy to work on when rarely needed, 85mpg. Not fast - 50mph makes parts of your body tingle that you don't want tingling! A very good following and forum group there too.If I ever get back on 2 wheels, it will be at my daughter's lake house where there is no such thing as traffic LOL, and lots of hard packed gravel roads and hard sand to ride on.
