I'd like to add besides making sure bike in neutral before shut down...
Check your USB adapter. Most still draw power even when nothing is plugged in. Part of a check for closed circuit program.

if you ride everyday, why charge it ? It will charge on its own.
I can understand if you don't ride it (like winter time)

i dont think honda know how much you ride and how long you ride.
short ride can equally discharge the battery

Wait, you have a top box that is keyed the same as the ignition? Or is it that the top box key is on the same ring as the ignition key?

Short rides can be a huge problem for batteries. How short? 10' - 15' is really short. 15' - 25' is short. 25' - 35' a little better. 35' and above can be ok if the revs are constantly in 3K - 5K.
I had to replace the OEM battery with an LFP because of my daily short rides. It's the only battery that can be fully charged in just 10'!
In general if you want to know more about your battery, you have to monitor it very close for about a month and keep a log of every charge...
