Installed Danmoto Jisu slip on with baffle. As expected, the exhaust has decent design, but the fit and finish is on the cheap side. However, no regrets here. I was going for throatier sound without being too loud and this exhaust delivers it. I used a dogbone to attach the bracket to the bike.
Here are a couple of pictures and link to the (low quality as usual) video:

I'm officially done with fakling. It's time to ride.

Took a ride with my son and some friends from his church from Virginia Beach down past Pungo to Knots Island. Great day for a rid with friends and don't get to ride with my on that often. New Avon Trail riders feel fine, but no aggressive roads or off road.

Installed a new windshield - Givi D1112S, tinted. I was hoping it would help reduce the wind noise in my Arai helmet. I think it has made things worse. :(

Installed new chain at 16K miles..WHAT A DIFFERENCE!. WOW! I should have done this sooner. The old chain looked good and was cleaned and waxed about once a month. The best $65 I have spent on this Bike.

Today I did the first ever valve check at near 10,000 miles. (I know I could go longer, but I was curious.)

Hardest messiest part was getting the radiator off.
What a pain in the butt, tried really hard to avoid spilling antifreeze but even with my trusty kitty litter box under it, it got everywhere.

So the valves: on Cylinder #1 they were ALL too tight, intake and exhaust. I set those back to spec, .007 and .011. I tested to see if I could shove a .009 and a .013 shim under them and couldn't. (Spec is +/- .001)

On Cylinder #2 they were also on the tight end, but still in spec, so I left them alone. Went for a ride to wash the bike. Sounds good, MPG still where it should be and nothing exploded.

Did a couple hundred more miles with my son. Headed north through harbor tunnel then crossed the river on 17 at Yorktown. Found some decent roads northwest of there. A web page said 14 is the most twisty road in tidewater area. Not the mountains, but fun ride. Let the twisty road feature on TomTom rider find some more good roads then headed back to VA Beach when the rain front reached us from the north.

Avon Trailriders road great, but no off road test yet. The 80 portion of the 80 20 tire is designed well.

With the new tire on, I finallt got to ride in to work, and from here, tonight, will be going to Two-Stroke Tuesday! Been a while, I hate driving back into town in the car after going all the way home.

But man, it feels nice to be on the bike able to ride.

(Now, to go get it registered, even if a little late)

Did some brake testing in the rain. Was really surprised with how hard the front brake could be grabbed before the ABS kicked in. Would highly recommend this just to get a feel for how far the lever can be squeezed before the front starts to skid. I only went 20km/hr but it really did give me more comfort with with the we emergency braking in wet conditions. Great exercise for the start of the season.

Yesterday did a 120 mile loop from home 2-up with my wife. Great weather, great ride, shopping for a new seat now! Oops, no photos.

Leaning towards Seat Concepts but I'll wait a bit to see if I can snag a used seat from someone. I'll need the passenger seat as well.
