Rode the NC to a friend's house and then spent several hours helping him brew this batch of beer (a Belgian Tripel).

How did he cool it? Nice set up BTW. I've made beer too with my x-wife. Mostly brown ales.
Got to have beer to make beer!

And Today...

I added a surfboard rack so I could take the bike surfing.


I have to make a custom plate and backplate and get some shorter bolts but other then that its ready to go.

Its not as close to the exhaust as it looks plus it would be in a bag when I actually ride with it.

A lot of people see the wind as a big concern but it actually doesnt create much more surface area then the bike on its own. it feels no different from loading on a lot of luggage or adding a second passenger.

That is one big surf board! Are you sure you are not wind surfing on the NC7 just to set a miles per gallon record?

Completed my conversion of the OEM Taillight on NaNCy into a LED Taillight.

I converted the OEM Taillight to a LED Taillight using Super Lumination - 1157 LED Bulb 50 Watt Osram Eagle EYE SMT Tower in Red. I also had to install an auxiliary LED Tag Light of the illumination of the license plate to meet all local laws and requirements. The LED Tag Light was purchase from Super Bright LEDs - LED Tag Light, P/N LPC-CW4 in "Cool White".

I rode my bike to work this morning. My boss found out...and said he wanted to ride home together (he has a bike, and lives in the same area I do).

I will have to change out the front tire soon. I have never seen a front wear so quickly. Z8 at 8555 miles has worn out. I have a PR4 to put on when I get around to it.

Installed 2" Rox risers. They feel great, I will know more after the 200 mile ride in the twisties.

Just got it back for its first 8 K service. Seems to run better. Adjusted valves, and steering head bearings. Everything seems better.

Took the nail out of my new pr4,while waiting for the new to arrive.I have a small portiable compressure from Walmart.its travel size.and a repair kit.I act like I was on the road fixing it using only the tools and kit I carry.it worked out great.better to learn now so when it happens out in bfe I will be able to do it.took more then 14 min to inflate but the psi gauge built in is dead balls on with my tire pressure stick.I would recommend having one on the bike somewhere just in case.

Center stand is finally on. 3 hours. Couldn't find anything in the shop, its a major disaster area right now. Cleaned the chain and lubed it. It doesn't look too good after 5K miles. Gonna wait to put the lowering links on. Haven't bled all day no reason to start now ; )
