Seat height can be a factor your Bergman was 29.75 inches and the NC is 32.6 inches the Versys is 33.3 inches. Personally the seat height for my commute is a bonus seeing over and around traffic. You can find low mile trade ins for almost any bike for many reasons. Make a list of what you want...
I would consider this a touring scooter. The Piaggio BV350
Clip"The BV 350 features a state-of-the-art, single cylinder 350cc engine. With the power of a 400cc and the compact dimensions and light weight of a 300cc, the BV 350 sets a new standard in the maxi-scooter segment, making it the...
This is a repost of a thread from the VFR forum:
The fastener on the right is an OEM item from my 07 Honda VFR Interceptor. They are a common fastener used on Honda bikes and seem to be pretty easy to brake. They run nearly $3 each at the dealer.
The fastener on the left is a "GM Push Type"...

Operation of the clip is a real zen experience and they work as long as they have not been overly plied or yanked and torqued.
I use an ipod touch 4th gen with the tomtom car kit and preloaded maps. The car kit is a cradle with built in gps chip that holds the device and power/charges at the same time. The draw back to this old set up is that the device has to be 12v powered to operate. Also i can not up load maps with...
Brrrrrrrrr. I like to get the wheels on to wood for some reason. full tank, a bit of sea foam in the gas, and a trickle charger. If I the oil was old or close to due I would change it. I try to keep my garge dry in the winter, so much so that I don't park a car in it anymore. Condensation is bad...
look it over real close, check the oil, drive it as long as he will allow. Have you tested another NC700x at a dealer for comparison. Looks like a great buy if your wanting the NC. Let us know if you do.
I wonder about this argument? Is it Noise or Emissions, both I would guess.
I could see a ticket given if the catalytic converter was removed but not the muffler. And because of the cat on our NC, a Danmoto is louder than OEM but still under the limit for noise compliance in most states. I...
Hmm, I put on the Yoshimura and with the cat still in place it's not real loud, also comes with a db killer insert and then it sounds stock. I was considering selling the stock muff, but who pays big bucks for a used stock unit?
I have been trying to make a sound bite but the cameras I have...
Wide Hell but they are about the same as the mirrors. 36-38" on the V35s. After I just mounted the v35s I pulled out to take a few picks and I bumped the other bike just a bit. This width will be an adjustment for me. I do like the mounting as it feels very firm and sturdy. I have the Honda...
I want to know the same on the width comparo to other options. OEM narrowest, Givi V35 middle, Givi trekker widest? Too late, I have the V35 set uninstalled and my garage is colder than outdoors at the moment.

I used a roto zip, it's a bit like a small router, no speed control, and I had to remove the body part to work on it safely. I love the Honda rack, but is is odd how much has to be removed, like the grab rails. What am I supposed to do with them? I just can't imagine this bike without a rack.

Welcome to the ride, and as we all know 30F is cold, no matter how old you are, and it just makes sense to admit it. I will also agree that the rear brake has that odd feeling of not working.

Roman welcome to the forum. Has the NC700 become a popular choice of motorbike in your state? Here in Minnesota it has not become a big seller and is not viewed as being a proper motorbike, yet!
Icing, after a quick google I think your refering to Visine as a poison?
