Hello all,
I would like to replace the rear turn signals with aftermarket ones because one of them has been dangling since an accident (when a drunk man tried to hop on the back of my bike at a redlight).
I approached it today thinking it would be pretty straightforward, I even got electrical connectors that plug into the OEM ones, but I have no idea how to approach it.
I removed the screw that would have held up the signal but that doesn't seem to help, the wires go in ... somewhere.
I found 5 screws behind the turn signals / license plate assembly (over the rear tire) and unscrewed them, but nothing seems to be coming loose.
I couldn't find any resource online so have no idea what to do or where to look at this point.
Has anyone successfully replaced their rear turn signals? If so can you share your experience? Is there some generalized resource I could be looking at? The owners manual didn't seem to help there.

I missed something when googling on my phone because it is shown in this video:
around 8:22.
It looks like he removes the same screws I did. Maybe there's something I can unclick, I will try again. If someone here speaks Italian please let me know if he reveals anything important :)

Done :) It was the 3 screws on top and a lot of force and some flathead screwdriver jammed hard on the front side. After that's removed, 4 more screws near the turn signals allow removing the whole thing complete access to the signals.
The OEM relay works (fast but acceptably) at least when only the front or rear blinkers are changed. Those LED ones I got (Dafy Town turn signals 4W) aren't as bright as I would have liked but good enough.

Do you have any problem with LED turn signal? The blinking is so fast.

Don't take it personally but I hate it. Your led is going to flash like hell and looks dorky.
I broke the rear turn signal off my C125 Cub. $50 US for a new one, so I repaired mine.
Fully functional and now has some character.
