say, you come to the front of a traffic light and there is an XXX777vttrblabla car next to you.
Where should we draw the line between pulling away from the traffic (for our safety of course) and gracefully...
i have also wondered if the fuel gauge was just a fuel gauge or something more... there has been quite a few times when i get to the flashing bit and then naturally human, after a bunch of traveling, would slow down a tad as to not to tempt fate - and voila! a few miles down the road it would go...
CLANK!
ok it bothered me a leeetle up to now (only first gear) - it seems to be part of the charm, but as I was reading this I realised something...
In 2500+kms I have never had one single "false neutral" in between gears !!! Elizabeth! Hit me with a two week old salmon, I haven't even...
not adjusted to your lingo, that first made me frown a bit about the 'cajoling' :D
if you are not of the three mentioned, were you the first guy perhaps? The one responsible for the cajoling?
Edit: reread it and there were only three...
THERE CAN BE ONLY ONE! KRCCSSHHH!!!
I would ride until I hear the noise, then pull the clutch and dead-man-switch the bike and hear if the noise goes away. If it doesn't, it will at least double your chances of finding the sound. I can just imagine what will happen if front wheel bearings would seize... brrr cold shivers down my...
true, true - I wouldn't suggest it if I had a Diavel or something, but NCs are getting veeeery popular around here! I see 2/3/4 a day on my short trips! And they are not the same ones either. See buying one as an investment, you can even use it to make errand runs with its frunk :)
I did take it relatively easy to give it a 'break in' period, necessary or not. I have also by now learned how to 'feel' where in the rev range I am and pretty successful in staying clear of that nasty rev limiter - caught me off guard once while midway in a turn and do not want to go there...
and is it just my bike that kinda is noisy in the gearbox dept.? Even my dad cringed when he rode it - he has ridden for about 650 years. I thought it was reassuring that I got a gear, but sometimes when I pass cars it makes me wonder if the drivers think I've clipped their mirrors. It goes...
DARN! i bought this bike for the 'young image', hoping to pick up chicks! but before long it will leak out that under the helmet is an old kwagga just living out his years!!
NOOOOOOO!!! (note to self, next time just buy the Ferrari)
I wheelie, wheelie like this one - IXIL hyperlow

but
the "official agent" for IXIL in South Africa (yes I know) replied in a one liner "we don't import these" not "eish... sorry, we don't have...
not being nasty here, but... at the rate these hot cakes are selling, wouldn't it be possible for a steady firm to buy a bike, make the mods and showcase it?
These days I see more NC700s than BMwhees on the road.
I wouldn't guinea pig my horse stable just because somebody promises a few...
howdee, just wondering, as this is the first outa-box bike I've treated mysef to (had lotsa used bikes though) and want to give it a proper life, whilst still enjoying mine.
How hard are these engines? I mean, it was made as a commuter on the other side of the world and I know Honda have a...
