    Maintenance before a long trip

When I went to San Diego from southeast Indiana on the nc I found an autozone along the way. Did an oil change in the parking lot and they took care of the used oil after my dad and I both did oil changes in the parking lot. We did oil changes at 3k miles. I know some will say we are wasting...

    Current CycleShell use

If a garage or permanent shelter isn't available I would guess it's better than nothing. I would be cautious of it in a storm as the wind might be able to blow it over into the bike causing more damage than it normally prevents Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

Buying a damaged bike out of state, help with pics?

I've been kicking around the idea of selling mine. It has around 16k miles and no damage. I was thinking I would be lucky to get $4k out of it. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

    Support your local dealer

I mount my own tires on the nc (That is barely capable of 100 mph) of course I also mount tires on my cbr1000rr that is capable of 100 mph in 3rd gear. As for the chain if you have a proper chain tool there is no reason you can't stake a rivet as well as any dealer out there. My bikes never see...

    Dealer has a VFR1200X

I'm betting the service intervals are higher on that than the NC. I've had a couple VFR 800s. The service interval is much better. Being on a VFR board there are many guys on there that have never touched the valves after the first check when they were spot on. The 800 is a pretty bullet proof...

Rapid drop in value of NC & CTX.

Anyone thinking of a Japanese motorcycle as an investment (with a few exceptions . . . NR750) is going to be disappointed. They are made to be ridden. Enjoy what you have to ride not what would sit in the garage and appreciate. Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    Honda grom scrambler concept

Ed up you'll be fine. I'm 6'3" and the grom is still the most fun I've had on two wheels. There is something that puts a smile on my face when I pass a car on the highway on it. The look on the other drivers face is priceless Sent from my SM-N920V using Tapatalk

    Honda Weirdness

Lots of new Hondas are that way. Not sure why they decided this is a better design. My crf and grom are both set up like the NC.

    Chain maintenance while touring

I did a 7k mile trip last year on the NC. I just hit the chain with some spray lube every evening after a day of riding. This is chain luring not brain surgery

    Building a NC700X into a "Communter Bike"

How much gear do you wear at 50 that you don't at 80? Maybe a jacket liner if that's as cold as it is. You California guys must be delicate if you need more than that Yes I'm joking
